21-Year-Old Killed In High-Speed Motorcycle Crash: PA State Police

A 21-year-old man has died at WellSpan Chambersburg hospital following a motorcycle crash on Friday, Aug. 9, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Sunday.

Jamaree Moore of Chambersburg was riding his 2010 Yamaha motorcycle at a high rate of speed northbound on Wayne Avenue/PA Route 316 at the intersection of South Second Street in Chambersburg when he left the roadway at 3:46 p.m. on Friday, Trooper Jared Muir.

His motorcycle went up the right curb lane of Wayne Avenue, rear-ending a 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse, and the force propelled it into oncoming traffic — striking a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado.

Moore was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and the other two drivers were not injured. 

He was taken to the hospital by Chambersburg Fire Dept. Ambulance and was pronounced dead by the Franklin County Coroner's Office. 

His grandma is taking donations to cover the funeral at Sellers Funeral Home, details are in the Facebook post below.
